Tests we run on ALL of our dogs:

1) Full genetic Aussie panel

including but not limited to: MDR1, DM, PRA, fur/coat analysis, hereditary cataracts, drug sensitivities, and more.

2) Coat and merle pattern levels, including testing for cryptic merle, harlequin, and tweed. To ensure we safely breed and protect future puppies from potential deaf and blindness issues.

3) Social Behavior Variant - did you know you can test to see how inclined your dog is to be outgoing or shy? Yes, you can and we do! **Please note that upbringing, training and socialization play a giant role in this as well.

4) BRAND NEW IN 2024 and only offered by Perdue University testing. "NAD"- Neuroaxonal Dystrophy Test is a genetic test looking for the presence of genes associated with Neuroaxonal Dystrophy in Miniature American Shepherds.

5) OFA Eye Certification on every dog completed by Animal Eye Institute of Dayton,

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A "CARRIER" ?

**Please note- if a dog is a "carrier" they are just fine and only carry that trait in their genetics and will NOT be affected by that trait. If they test "positive" then they are affected by it.
